The 2025 ASTA Travel Advisor Conference is the meeting place for all facets of the travel industry, and we have something for everyone... literally! Our educational content offers robust topics to help make attendees the best at what they do, whether you're an industry veteran or a newbie. That's why for 2025, we're asking all subject matter experts: What innovative and timely topics do you want to share with your peers?
We're looking for creative ideas, strategies, successes, and need-to-know skills that you think would be ideal for our ASTA member audience as they strive to grow and further develop their travel business. Who is that exactly? Well, from small to mega travel agencies and the largest Host/Consortia, we welcome:
- Independent/Self-Employed Travel Advisors
- Front-line Advisors and Agency Employees
- Travel Agency Owners/Managers
- Other: C-Suite Executives, education creators, marketing experts, operations, finance, IT experts, and more!
We'll select presenters who provide the most compelling topics with an engaging style to present at the conference from May 20-22 in Salt Lake City. As a speaker, you will share your ideas and expertise with our audiences and gain recognition by appearing onstage at the industry's must -attend event. Not only will this enhance your personal and professional reputation, but as a selected speaker, you'll receive complimentary full-event registration.
Deadlines and Targets
- Proposal submissions deadline: August 9, 2024
- Peer Review of Submissions target: September 6, 2024
- Notification to Selected Speakers target: September 16, 2024
Proposal Submission Guidelines
- All submissions must be submitted electronically by August 9, 2024
- You may submit as many topics as you like. Each must be on a separate submission form.
- To increase your chances of being selected, we highly encourage you to submit a 2-3 minute video where you explain your proposed session.
- Speakers will not be compensated, but will receive a complimentary registration to attend the full conference.
- ASTA's educational sessions are approximately 45 minutes in length, including a Q&A session.
- Educational sessions may have a 5-minute introduction delivered by one of ASTA's Proud Partners.
- Submissions must be educational offerings and not product or service advertorials.
- Submissions and the sessions themselves must be for your original work and not the property of any other source.
- If selected to speak, you must commit to conducting your session at the conference, as attendees will register for sessions in advance and will count on learning from you on your topic.
Please note that the number of educational session opportunities will be limited. All submissions go through a peer-review process. Content should not be advertorial in any way. It should instead pertain strictly to topics of relevance to the travel advisor community and their business success.
