ASTA is committed to providing all attendees with a safe experience during our in-person events. ASTA requires proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to attend our events or a negative COVID-19 PCR test 72 hours prior to the start of the event.
Event attendees traveling to San Francisco from within the United States and its territories should familiarize themselves and comply with the domestic travel recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. If traveling into the U.S., please refer to the CDC guidance for those traveling internationally.
ASTA Event COVID-19 Policies:
Vaccination
One of the following will be required at onsite registration at any ASTA Event.
Masks
Masks are not mandatory at ASTA events.
Positive Case at Event
If you begin experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or a positive test result while onsite at an ASTA event, you are required to quarantine in your hotel room immediately and call ASTA Staff at +1-203-247-7184. Any spouse or roommate who has been staying in your room with you is also required to quarantine for forty-eight (48) hours, upon which time they will be required to take a COVID-19 test and receive a negative result to end quarantine. ASTA Staff will assist in securing a separate room for your spouse or roommate if required. All costs incurred due to quarantine will be at the attendee’s own expense.
*Please note, local destination guidelines and policies supersede ASTA’s Covid-19 policies. The policies above may change depending on the event location.
We strongly urge all unvaccinated attendees to adhere to the recommended safety protocols, including frequent hand washing and maintaining a six-foot distance from other attendees. Feel free to give as many air high-fives and waves as you want!
Posting photos or videos on social media is a great way to show your audience how to safely travel! If you document any part of your journey to, during, and from any of ASTA’s events, please make sure your social media posts reflect your observance of any required health and safety practices.
